- Add the chopped gourds in cooker vessel wdh little water and take one whistle of it and keep aside to cool.
- In a small mixie jar,add coconut,1/2ts mustard,jaggery,red chilli powder and some water and make a coarse paste of it(remember bhi don't wanna fine paste…it should be coarse)
- Heat a wok,add oil,add 1tsp mustard seeds,let it splutter,add urad dal, curry leaves, turmeric,saute and add the ground coarse paste,saute for a min…
- Now add the steamed gourd along with a bit water just a tbspn of it..and add salt,give a stir..
- Close wdh a steam releasing lid for 5mins.and done.
- Sorekai palya/bottle gourd stir fry bhaji is ready to serve
- Accompanied by dal-rice combo,chapati or bhakri too.
