  1. Soak urad dal and the rice separately for 8 hours or overnight. Then grind it separately in a fine paste and leave it to ferment for 8 hours. (IF U HAVE DOSA BATTER U CAN SKIP THIS STEP AND USE THE DOSA BATTER)
  2. Soak the grated bottle gourd in water with salt for 10 mins.
  3. After fermentation mix the two batter properly by adding salt. Add the bottle gourd to the batter and mix it well.
  4. Apply oil to a pan and pour a small portion of the batter and cook it for 2-3 mins in a low - medium flame. Flip it to the other side and cook it for another 2-3 mins.
