Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, mint leaves, fennel seeds, salt and mix well with your hands. The resultant mixture will be very thick like a dough.

  1. Mix all the ingredients and form a thick batter.
  2. Dip the lauki (gourd) roundlets in the batter.
  3. Heat oil either on a girdle or on a non-stick pan.
  4. Shallow fry the roundlets turning over till done.
