But today I am going to share the recipe of lauki ki barfi which is really really delicious in taste.
Instructions to make Bottle gourd burfi or lauki ki burfi:

- Peel the bottle guard and remove the seeds(center part). Grate it in a grater.
- Heat kadai. Add 2 tsp ghee and grated 1 & 1/4 cup bottle guard. saute it. close it with lid and cook for 5 to 10 min.
- Add 1 cup of milk to that bottle gourd mixture and cook till the milk reduces.
- After it becomes thick add 3/4 cup of sugar to that and mix it well.
- Stir it till becomes thick. It shouldn't stick to the sides and around the sides of the mixture some bubbles will arise. It is the exact stage to pour this mixture to a greased plate. Add badam slices on the top.
- Leave it and cut it after it comes to room temperature. Remove it from the plate.Sorakkai burfi or bottle guard burfi is ready to serve.If we want we can add khoya or palkova instead of milk.
- Tip: - —- - If you are unable to cut and remove the burfi pieces, then keep the burfi in refrigerator for 10 min till it becomes little cool. After 10 min remove it from refrigerator and take the pieces it will be easy.
