Instructions to make Prawn bottle gourd or lau chingri:
- Wash and clean prawn.
- Heat a kadai and fry the prawn and keep them aside.
- Now add some oil and add tejpatta, pachforon.
- Fry onion and tomato.
- Add a little amount of sugar.
- Add bottle gourd.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and fried prawn.
- Boil them until the water of the vegetables became dry.
- Serve this beautiful recipe with rice.
Smoke oil in a pressure cooker. This is a traditional recipe which is very light ,less spicy and still tasty. It combines finely cut bottle gourd with small or medium sized prawns. Perfect for enjoying along with steamed rice. Put bottle gourd in a cooker with a liitle water, cook to three whistles and keep aside.
