- Break the cluster beans, wash it and keep aside.
- In pan add oil when oil get heated add cluster beans in it. Fry for 5 min on low to medium flame till light brown in colour then take out from oil keep aside.
- Now in this oil add chopped onion fry for 2 min. After that add chopped tomato fry it till getting soft.
- After that add chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, curry leaves (if you want) and kalonji seeds mix well cook for 3 min on medium flame.
- Now add curd, fried cluster beans and Amchur powder mix well. Close the lid cook for 5 min on medium to low flame then switch off the gas.
In the traditional recipe the chana dal is deep fried, but in this recipe we roasted the dal in a an oven. But you can also use an air fryer to make it healthy.
