- Get 250 grams cluster beans

- Make ready salt - as per taste
- Get piece red hot coal - small
NOTE : If you do not have charcoal, then heat the katori/ spoon itself and place inside the bowl of gavar. Drop ghee and heeng on to the hot katori for creating smoke. Gavar Phalli Angara (Smoked Cluster Beans) is a dish with smoky flavor. Fuming takes this simple dish to another level.
Instructions to make Smoked Cluster Beans:
- Cut the top and bottom of cluster beans. Boil and strain into a bowl and keep aside
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add Jeera and the boiled beans and stir.
- Add turmeric, red chilli, dhaniya and salt.
- Cook in a medium flame till the spices get cooked. Sprinkle little water.
- In that pan. Empty the centre portion and place a small bowl add ghee. Put a red hot coal in the ghee and close the lid.
- The smoky flavour will spread to the curry will raise good aroma and taste.
Gavar Phalli Angara (Smoked Cluster Beans) is a dish with smoky flavor. Fuming takes this simple dish to another level. This is a very typical Rajasthani method of preparing food. In Rajasthan they call this method as dhooni and the dish is known as Gavar phalli ki bhujji. I smoked this on my smoker but you can just add a touch of liquid smoke and bake in your oven or cook stove top.
