I came up with some shortcuts and ended up with this recipe which tastes exactly the same as traditional Ras Malai. Rasmalai is a Bengali delicacy that is very popular among the Indian Sweet Lovers.

The ingredients needed to make Rasmalai:
  1. Take 500 ml milk high fat for Rabdi
  2. Get 1 litre low fat milk for paneer
  3. Get as needed Chopped dry fruits
  4. Get 1 pinch saffron/Kesar
  5. Get 250 gm Sugar around
  6. Make ready 1/2 cup Milkmaid

Steps to make Rasmalai:
  1. Make paneer from low fat milk and make a dough from it. Mash it well till oil releases from it
  2. Make round balls of paneer and press them gently. Boil water in a Pan and add around 1 cup sugar. Once it dissolves, add pressed paneer into it. Let it boil for 15 minutes
  3. Boil high fat milk in another pan and add 1 cup sugar into it.. keep aside the malai and let it boil till it's thick. Add the chopped dry fruits and saffron for colour. I added milkmaid as well to get the required thickness. Add the pressed paneer balls into this now and refrigerate it for 1 hour.
  4. Garnish with dryfruits.. keep in refriegerator till you serve..Creamy Rasmalai is ready..
